Senior Planner - High-Speed Rail Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team in Birmingham, working on high-profile infrastructure projects such as Crossrail and HS2. As a key member of our Main Works Civils High Speed 2 project team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering solutions for our clients and project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners and sub-contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication and progress updates.
  • Produce compliant programmes, schedules, and reports, ensuring logical robustness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, deviations, and slippages, reporting to senior members of the Project Controls and Project Management team.
  • Conduct risk workshops and schedule risk analysis, presenting results to stakeholders.
  • Ensure Earned Value Management processes are followed, analyzing data and trends.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing programmes within major infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary coordination across major infrastructure projects and global design teams.
  • Development of innovative programming and reporting solutions.
  • Supervision of junior team members.
