Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual with expertise in Risk Management within the African Region to join our team as a Security Risk Coordinator at our Global Security Operations Centre.

At the heart of our security services is the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC), which operates continuously throughout the year. This centre is staffed by a dedicated team of security professionals and crisis management specialists who are well-versed in the risks associated with international travel. They provide clients with timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence and guidance using advanced technology to deliver location-specific insights and monitor incidents.

We collaborate with our clients to assess the security challenges their global operations encounter, offering advice on risk mitigation and guiding them in creating a safer environment for their employees, projects, and facilities. By providing access to highly specialized consultants with local expertise in challenging environments, we assist clients in developing risk management strategies tailored to their acceptable risk levels.

Role Responsibilities

Essential Experience

  • At least one year of demonstrated operational experience in security and/or international relations, including military, government, police, NGOs, or corporate security.
  • Experience in risk management, security planning, logistics, client engagement, and crisis management.
  • Experience working in an international setting, such as postings or employment with a foreign multinational corporation.
  • A relevant undergraduate degree in International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field.

Travel and Working Hours

  • Travel may be required based on business needs.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours to support operations.

  • Highly organized with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
