Job Title: Assistant Headteacher

Leigh Academies Trust is seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Headteacher to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our SEN policy, SEN information report, and provision made by the school for pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities.

About the Role

As Assistant Headteacher, you will work closely with the Principal, Academy Leadership Team, and the SEN department to ensure that our students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a high-quality intervention programme to support students with SEND
  • Work closely with SE London and Kent teams to ensure we are doing the absolute best for our most vulnerable students
  • Establish and develop excellent relationships with the community and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of children to reach their full potential regardless of background or circumstance
