About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing care, emotional support, and guidance to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to children and young people, helping them navigate daily challenges.
  • Assist with personal care, educational needs, and emotional well-being.
  • Develop strong relationships with children, fostering trust and security.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create tailored care plans.
  • Encourage positive behavior and development through activities, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Keep detailed records of progress and communicate effectively with the team and external agencies.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children, especially those with additional needs or in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • A relevant qualification in childcare, social work, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Valid driver's license and DBS check (or equivalent) required.
