Residential Support Worker Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to work in residential settings across Doncaster. As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide vital support and care to young people with additional needs, ensuring they feel safe and supported.

Key Responsibilities for Residential Support Worker:

  • Assist young people with their daily routines, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Provide emotional and social support to children in residential care, acting as a trusted Residential Support Worker.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop individual care plans for each child under your care as a Residential Support Worker.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children, utilising your experience as a Residential Support Worker.
  • Manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively as part of your Residential Support Worker duties.

Essential Requirements for Residential Support Worker:

  • Experience in a similar Residential Support Worker role is essential.
  • A caring and compassionate approach is vital for a Residential Support Worker.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for a successful Residential Support Worker.
  • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one is required for a Residential Support Worker.
