Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning hospital, which is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including theatres, critical care, and emergency departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic services to patients, including elective and emergency procedures
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the department, including quality improvement initiatives and leadership development
  • Participate in on-call rotas and provide cover for colleagues as needed
Requirements
  • Be on the GMC Specialist Register or be no more than six months from receiving CCT at interview date
  • Have a thorough understanding of the NHS Constitution and its implications
  • Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
