Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Anaesthesia to join our dynamic team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Anaesthesia department, which provides a wide range of anaesthetic services to patients. As a Consultant in Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing anaesthetic services to patients, including elective and emergency procedures
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care
  • Contributing to the development of the Anaesthesia department and service
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Be on the GMC Specialist Register or be no more than six months from receiving CCT at interview date
  • Have a thorough understanding of the NHS Constitution and its implications
  • Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
