Job Title: Data Administrator

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a skilled Data Administrator to support a 10-month project with potential for extension. The role involves working on-site initially, with the possibility of remote work and occasional office visits in Tweedbank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a data repository to support project team access and data interrogation.
  • Provide Excel outputs for sharing with NHS partner organisations.
  • Extend the data structure to support import, separation, and comparison of data from partner organisations.
  • Design and implement reports on financial liability, variance, member and contract statistics, and data validation outcomes.
  • Advise on data repository limitations and risk, and manage the transition to an alternative data tool if necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Business Analyst on data requirements and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Access DB and SQL.
  • Experience in database management, data modelling, reporting, analysis, presentation, and visualisation.
  • Ability to engage positively and professionally with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in conceiving, designing, and building dashboards using Excel and enterprise BI solutions.
  • Experience working on large projects and leading data initiatives.
  • Ability to support the transition to Apex Oracle after Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst.
