Job Summary:

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and implement new hire induction safety training programs to ensure employees are aware of potential hazards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess safety conditions, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure they adhere to our safety standards and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain safety training programs to ensure employees are equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General certificate (IOSH as a minimum)
  • CSCS White Card
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
