Role Overview

The ACU is seeking a highly skilled Research and Evaluation Officer to join its External Affairs Directorate. As a key member of the team, you will design and deliver impactful research and MEL (monitoring, evaluation and learning) shared services for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver research and MEL shared services for internal and external clients
  • Ensure the ACU has the right data, insight and evidence to support its strategic priorities and meet contract deliverables
  • Contribute to the effective research, evaluation and monitoring of the programmes offered by the ACU
  • Work with award-holders and stakeholders to collect, analyse and report on both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Develop research techniques and contribute to internal and external dissemination of information on the outcomes of ACU managed programmes

Requirements

  • Experience with development and application of innovative qualitative data collection methodologies
  • Quantitative/statistical analysis skills
  • Experience with managing research projects using both qualitative and quantitative approaches
  • Ability to analyse and report quantitative data and contribute to research projects and/or programme reviews
  • Ability to develop approaches and methods to gather data from third party stakeholders
