Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the City of London.

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000

This role involves undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, servicing electrical or mechanical equipment, liaising with subcontractors, and responding to clients' needs. The continental shift pattern (days and nights) requires flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
  2. Conduct electrical fault-finding and repair.
  3. Manage fire alarm systems.
  4. Service HVAC systems.
  5. Perform water treatment tasks (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc).
  6. Liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a City and Guilds qualification in Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent industry-recognized certification.
  2. Prior experience in building services maintenance is essential.
