**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks in a commercial building setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including lighting, emergency lighting, air conditioning, and water treatment.
  • Monitor mechanical plant and report any issues to the site management team.
  • Undertake all allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment.
  • Ensure all plant and BMS checks are completed on time and all problems found are recorded and communicated to the Shift Lead or Supervisor.
  • Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associated systems.
  • Be proactive regarding preventative maintenance and good site husbandry.
  • Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • Ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and documentation associated with the mechanical aspects of the PPM and plant.

Requirements:

  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
  • Experience working in a large commercial building
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start
