Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to patients with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Participate in service development initiatives, contributing to the improvement of mental health services and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health).
  • Experience working with adults with mental health conditions, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
