Delivery Assistant

Location: Southall, Middlesex

As a Delivery Assistant stationed at our Southall Depot, you will become an integral member of a collaborative team dedicated to addressing climate challenges.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Accompanying the driver on daily routes, delivering fresh cooking oil to various establishments and collecting used cooking oil for transport
  • Engaging with numerous customers daily, ensuring a helpful and efficient service
  • Assisting the driver in identifying new delivery locations
  • Completing round sheets and invoices with accurate quantities and pricing
  • Unloading used cooking oil from vehicles upon return
  • Loading vehicles with fresh stock for subsequent deliveries
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain efficient site operations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow
  • Dependable work ethic
  • A valid car or moped driving license
  • Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent)

Please be aware that this position involves early start times, typically between 04:00 and 06:00 am.

As the role may require lifting and transporting weights exceeding 20kgs, we will provide manual handling training and medical assessments for the selected candidate.
