Roofing Maintenance Specialist

Company Overview: Workshop Recruitment is engaged in various contracts across Hampshire, focusing on Fabric Maintenance and repairs for a diverse portfolio of buildings.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will undertake a mobile role, providing essential roofing services across multiple locations. This position involves working on a variety of structures, including educational institutions, hospitality venues, commercial offices, residential facilities, and leisure establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of roofing repairs for both domestic and commercial clients.
- Work on various building types, including listed properties, ensuring compliance with preservation standards.
- Handle both pitched and flat roofing tasks, utilizing materials such as felt, slate, and tile.
- Support guttering maintenance and other tasks requiring work at height.
- Demonstrate proficiency in groundworks, including minor brickwork and paving.
- Conduct minor carpentry, lead or metal flashing, and repointing as part of roofing duties.
- Utilize communication tools effectively to relay information and understand project requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of industry materials and methods to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid driving license is essential.
- Previous experience of over 3 years in the building maintenance sector is required.
- A DBS check will be necessary prior to the commencement of the role.
