Position Summary: As a Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding a dedicated team in delivering essential maintenance and cleaning services for specialized machinery and equipment. This role involves both hands-on work and leadership responsibilities, ensuring that operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with your team on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, typically managing two direct reports.
- Uphold Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Oversee the management of tools and materials, ensuring proper inventory and documentation.
- Conduct site audits to maintain quality standards in service delivery.
- Document and plan projects to foster continuous improvement and learning.
- Ensure customer requirements are met in accordance with established procedures.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in engineering, maintenance, or a related field is essential; we value a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work closely with your team on various projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, fostering employee engagement and motivation.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols is crucial.
- Capability to work independently after training, with minimal supervision.
- A valid driving license is required, along with the ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary starting at £31,000, increasing to £33,000 after a successful training period, plus an annual allowance of £6,000. Overtime opportunities can elevate your annual earnings to between £39,000 and £47,000, along with a discretionary annual bonus of 10%. Additional benefits include a pension plan, 30 days of annual leave (increasing with tenure), and a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
