Social Companion for Young Man with Visual Impairment

Pay: £12.00 per hour
About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide companionship and support to a young man with a visual impairment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a positive relationship with our son and engaging him in activities that promote his interests and well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of understanding and be able to communicate effectively with our son using signs and gestures. They will also be responsible for ensuring his safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements- Ability to build a positive relationship with our son
- Understanding of the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively using signs and gestures
- Responsibility for ensuring our son's safety and well-being
We offer a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of a young man with a disability.
This is a part-time position, requiring 3-4 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check and provide references.
