About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inclusive Learning Lecturer to join our team at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. As a key member of our Inclusive Learning department, you will play a vital role in providing education, training, and skills development to our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver project-based literacy and numeracy through social enterprise mini-business ventures, enrichment activities, and preparation for work experience, focusing on OCN units at the Entry level.
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive teaching methods to support learners with severe learning and communication difficulties, learners with ASD, and those who may be non-verbal.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the wellbeing and safeguarding of our learners.
  • Manage and create professional relationships with learners' parents/carers, external agencies, and the Head and Deputy Head of Department.
  • Manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications as outlined in the Person Specification.
  • Experience in teaching learners with severe learning and communication difficulties, learners with ASD, and those who may be non-verbal.
  • Ability to manage and create professional relationships with learners' parents/carers, external agencies, and the Head and Deputy Head of Department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
