Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Contract Manager to join our team in the Wind Offshore Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical tender documentation, coordinating and leading negotiations for technical matters and clarifications with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and evaluate technical tenders for offshore logistics contracts worldwide
  • Act as technical lead during negotiations for technical-contractual terms of agreements
  • Ensure seamless communication between departments to incorporate their input in contracts
  • Gather and implement information from other departments to prepare updated annexes for new projects and markets
  • Evaluate offers, identify deviations, and ensure technical concessions align with company policies and standards
  • Manage technical contract reviews, amendments, and terminations, capturing lessons learned and implementation
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure correct implementation and interpretation of existing contracts
  • Manage and improve existing technical contracts
  • Support departments and colleagues during due diligence phases in technical-contractual matters and claims processing
  • Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, and project members to clarify technical-contractual questions during tendering phases
  • Provide in-house counsel for technical contracting-related questions throughout a project's timeline
  • Direct interface with project teams during preparation and execution phases

Requirements

  • Degree in maritime engineering, mechanical engineering, renewable energies, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience and expertise in project management, contract and requirements management, and wind farm component design, construction, and operation
  • Experience in drafting, managing, and tracking technical contracts
  • Interest in working at the intersection of engineering, legal, and commercial topics
  • Knowledge of offshore wind operations and on-site experience a plus
  • General understanding of project management, asset financing, and project development
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with other languages a plus
  • A careful and precise approach to work
  • Team-oriented and open to working in an international, diverse environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
