Our fleet solutions encompass video surveillance aimed at enhancing safety for both passengers and drivers, monitoring vehicle and driver performance, as well as automatic passenger counting systems.
Our passenger information solutions provide the essential hardware and software for real-time information systems, off-vehicle smart ticketing, and wayfinding solutions.
We are currently seeking to grow our service and maintenance team and have an opening for a Fleet Service Engineer to cover the South East region. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fleet monitoring and Passenger Information Systems as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service requests, ensuring fleet systems are restored to full functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system audits on existing installations.
- Install and commission new systems as required.
- Prepare daily updates and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
As part of a dedicated team of engineers working across various fleet depots, this position includes only 4 night shifts from Monday to Thursday, each lasting 10 hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
Ideal candidates will possess:
Experience in the installation and maintenance of ancillary electronic vehicle systems, particularly with a strong understanding of CCTV technology.
Familiarity with PCs and networking is advantageous.
A formal qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
