Our client, a prominent entity in the technology and retail industries, is seeking a Technical Security Lead to enhance their innovative team on a permanent basis.

This position is crucial for ensuring that all IT deployments are secure and continuously monitored, especially in light of the growing prevalence of cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulating and sustaining a thorough security data and tooling strategy that aligns with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Assessing and incorporating suitable security tools and technologies to bolster the organization's overall security framework.
  • Overseeing and managing the group’s technical security standards and principles, ensuring compliance across all IT operations.
  • Creating and executing security roadmaps while keeping up with industry advancements.
  • Identifying and addressing potential security risks and vulnerabilities within systems and applications.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key security partners and technology vendors, including Cyber Insurance providers.
  • Assisting Networks and Infrastructure teams with effective security designs, including firewalls, encryption methods, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Designing protective measures for the organization’s platforms.
  • Serving as the Security Technology Design Authority and approver at relevant Architectural Governance Boards.
  • Facilitating audit processes to ensure adherence to required standards.
  • Mentoring analysts and other members of the broader cybersecurity team.

Job Requirements:
  • Demonstrated professional experience in IT/cybersecurity.
  • Solid understanding of the cybersecurity sector, including product and service trends.
  • Extensive knowledge of current cyber threat types and mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with standards such as NIST, MITRE, and OWASP.
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as Microsoft, Unix, Oracle, SAP, Cloud, Digital, and Networks.
  • Able to communicate technical security matters in a manner accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comprehension of the business implications of security risks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to lead discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a personable approach.
  • High adaptability and willingness to travel as necessary.

Languages:
English proficiency is required; knowledge of French, Polish, or other languages is advantageous.
