Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at First Choice Staff. As a key member of our Transport operation, you will be responsible for managing and planning vehicles for Import collections and Export deliveries from major airports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan vehicles for Import collections and Export deliveries from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports
  • Ensure compliance with DVSA, WTD, and UK legislation
  • Work collaboratively with the Transport team to achieve operational excellence
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Proven history in freight forwarding with the ability to demonstrate forward-thinking attitude and leadership skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • IT generalist knowledge with experience working with Transport Management systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Scheduling or a related field
  • Good understanding of LHR and the GHA's that service the A/lines and their handling requirements
  • Full understanding of Aviation Security regulation and compliance
  • Good knowledge of the air freight industry and previous experience preferred
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Shared Mailbox Experience
  • 5 Year checkable work history
  • CRB check

What We Offer:

£30,000 PA + £4000 shift allowance
