Technical Support Engineer Opportunity

Probe UK is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join their team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing proactive, effective, and efficient technical service and customer complaint root cause analysis function within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer enquiries for mechanical, electrical, documentation, and testing requirements according to agreed procedures.
  • Ensure quick response times to customer complaint enquiries are essential to sales companies and end customers, therefore the role is measured against agreed KPIs.
  • Manage end-to-end all customer complaint investigations through to root cause and prepare suitable technical reports.
  • Ensure primary inspections are completed in accordance with department service level agreements and that technical clarity is assured.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in technical electro/mechanical fault-finding and service work.
  • Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is essential.
  • Minimum of HNC in Mechanical or Electronics.
What We Offer:
  • Salary £46,000 + Bonus.
  • Monday - Friday hours are 7am - 4.15pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 7am - 12pm.
  • Company Pension.
  • Enhanced Annual leave of days holiday increasing with length of service to 26.
  • 4x Death in Service.
  • Private Medical Insurance after 12 months.
