Key Responsibilities:
- Assist all management personnel with employee relations matters
- Promote employee engagement initiatives throughout the organization
- Collaborate with managers on the complete recruitment process
- Design and implement an onboarding program for new employees
- Conduct follow-ups and finalize probation and performance evaluations
- Coach and guide managers in managing employee absences
- Partner with the Plant Manager on succession planning and talent development
- Identify training requirements and coordinate learning and development programs
- Evaluate HR processes and introduce new procedures as necessary
- Generate and report on monthly and annual HR key performance indicators
- Establish effective relationships with union representatives and agency partners
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle
- Assist the HR team with broader projects as needed
Candidate Profile:
- A solid background in a comparable Human Resources position
- Proficient in managing employee relations cases
- Experience in engaging with Employment Unions
- Accustomed to a dynamic work environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector
- Possession of a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Self-reliant with the capability to work independently and build strong professional relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
