About Us

Carpenters Workshop Gallery is a leading international gallery for contemporary collectible design. We are dedicated to producing and exhibiting functional sculptures by rising and established artists and designers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Associate to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sales and achieving the required sales profitability with a focus on the UK and/or other international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet annual sales targets and support the gallery's global and regional efforts
  • Establish and maintain positive personal relationships with clients to produce repeat collectors of the gallery
  • Host clients at the gallery and other UK or international fairs/exhibitions as required
  • Develop sales pipeline and sales execution, including liaising with Production, Logistics & Finance teams
  • Research and be knowledgeable of the entire CWG artist roster and art market records
  • Follow commercial process and develop commercial action plan to hook and develop client portfolio
  • Support strategy for all CWG exhibitions and fairs, including proposing artists/artworks and exhibition themes
  • Represent the gallery at art industry events across the region
  • Discuss strategy for client development and outreach with Sales Director

Requirements

  • Strong sales and client relationship skills
  • Established network in the UK
  • Knowledge of Collectible Design, Furniture, Sculpture, and Contemporary Art preferred
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basics of InDesign), ArtLogic Management System preferred
  • English required, additional languages are a plus
