About This Role
We're seeking a compassionate and resilient Senior Support Worker to join our Mental Health service in Waltham Forest. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals referred to the project from our local authority, working collaboratively with the team to meet their unique needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Work proactively with the team to manage the service caseload and ensure each customer's identified needs are met effectively.
- Motivate and champion a positive culture within the service, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings and management meetings, contributing your insights and expertise.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using relevant systems, company policies, and frameworks to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all Look Ahead Care & Support policies and procedures, including those specific to the project and any statutory requirements.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with your role level as deemed reasonable by Look Ahead, which may include working at an alternative location if necessary.
About You
You are a highly motivated and self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with colleagues and individuals receiving support. Your calm and resilient nature allows you to effectively manage challenging situations.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working in a mental health support role.
