National Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing key existing National Accounts and the relationships within those accounts.
Your role will involve overseeing relationships with major businesses such as ASDA, Aldi, Morrisons, and others in the FMCG, Food Production, or Drinks sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain strong relationships with existing business clients to ensure service levels are met
- Present new products to potential and existing clients
- Manage account relationships, negotiate prices, and understand client businesses and goals
- Identify and capitalize on sales growth opportunities
- Manage product cost prices, develop customer joint business plans, and handle customer inquiries
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
- Deliver forecast customer volume, net sales, and margin goals for relevant clients
- Experience in account management with major retailers
- Background in FMCG, Food Production, or Drinks sectors
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Resilience, drive, and a focus on career advancement
- Standard office hours from Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working model allowing for one day of remote work per week
- Salary up to £47,000 per year, depending on experience
- Performance bonuses of up to £2,000 per year (£500 per quarter)
- Car allowance
