About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Commercial team at Linkster Recruitment. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a vital role in managing key existing National Accounts and the relationships within those accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing business clients to ensure service levels are met.
- Present new products to potential and existing clients.
- Manage account relationships, negotiate prices, and understand client businesses and goals.
- Identify and capitalize on sales growth opportunities.
- Manage product cost prices, develop customer joint business plans, handle customer inquiries, and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Deliver forecast customer volume, net sales, and margin goals for relevant clients.
Requirements:
- Experience in account management with major retailers.
- FMCG background in Food Production or Drinks sectors.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Resilience, drive, and a focus on career advancement.
What We Offer:
- Standard office hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model allowing for one day of remote work per week.
- Salary up to £47,000 per year, depending on experience, with performance bonuses of up to £2,000 per year (£500 per quarter) and a car allowance.
