About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our clinicians and contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to consultants and other healthcare professionals
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Coordinate appointments and bookings for patients
  • Prepare and send medical reports and correspondence
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
