Job Title: IT Field Engineer

Trident, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Field Engineer to join our team. As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to client sites to provide technical support and services
  • Setup and configuration of new equipment and systems
  • Provide end-to-end support and resolution of technical issues
  • Identify potential escalations and proactively alert management
  • Provide training and documentation to clients
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide regular updates to clients on ticket progress
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
  • Microsoft 365 implementation, administration, and support
  • Microsoft Azure configuration, administration, and support
  • Networking principles, including VLANs, LAGs, VPNs, and routing
  • Microsoft Office components support
  • Firewall products configuration, administration, and support
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to situations and changing requirements
  • MSP experience and relevant IT qualification
