Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team to enhance knowledge and practices within the organization.

Key responsibilities include formulating and managing adherence to the IPC Delivery Plan.

Engagement with stakeholders to elevate IPC standards is essential.

Expertise in navigating complex challenges and a solid understanding of clinical governance frameworks is required.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

Proficient in critical thinking, data interpretation, report generation, policy formulation, and program development.

Experience with infection control auditing tools, strong communication skills, IT proficiency, and effective task prioritization.

Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, demonstrating leadership qualities.

Clinical background in a healthcare environment.

Desirable Qualifications

Certification in Infection Prevention and Control, specialized knowledge, training capabilities, experience in staff leadership, project management skills, and collaboration with external partners.

  • Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence and access to personal transport is required (Mileage reimbursement provided).
