The People Network is a leading Financial Services company that is undergoing a significant digital transformation. We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Team Lead to join our DevOps team and lead a team of skilled Mulesoft Developers.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned MuleSoft Team Lead with a solid software engineering background to lead our Mulesoft Development team. The successful candidate will have experience managing, leading, and coaching a high-performing team of Developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term API vision and strategy as part of its digital transformation initiatives.
  • Lead a team of experienced Mulesoft Developers in developing APIs using MuleSoft within Agile delivery teams.
  • Implement CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps (or similar) to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices in unit testing using the MUnit framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing APIs using MuleSoft within Agile delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of XML and JSON.
  • Experience in CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps (or similar).
  • Proven unit testing skills using the MUnit framework.
  • A MuleSoft Development Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer

The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience, plus a generous annual bonus and a superb 12% non-contributory pension. Work Environment

This is a hybrid role where there is lots of flexibility to work from home. You will need to visit the office in either Wiltshire or Hampshire occasionally (1-2 times a month although this is not a strict rule). If you prefer you can even choose to be fully office based.
