Assembly Line Operative Job Description

We are seeking experienced Assembly Line Operatives to work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to complete a variety of assembly tasks will be required.

The assembly line involves many duties, with each member of the team relying on each other to complete separate tasks in order for the next process to be completed. Therefore, each Operative must be experienced in this environment and be able to adapt quickly to the training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete various assembly tasks using a variety of hand/power tools and equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Work to specific deadlines and time schedules to ensure the production process flows.
  • Have an excellent teamwork ethic to assist other team members when necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working on production assembly lines.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery issues.
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
