About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Finance to join our client, a successful, privately owned business located in central Oxford.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of financial activity, including accounting, reporting, process improvement, audit preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Support the development, collaboration, and implementation of the annual business plan, producing budgets that consider the company's strategic direction and planned expenditure.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practices within the industry to ensure maximum productivity.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with a proven track record as a successful Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
  • Self-starter who is hands-on, highly organized, and whose decision-making is driven by data.
  • Knowledge of company, industry, and local market trends.
  • Uncompromising level of honesty and integrity, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
