We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Technologist, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment, ensuring that it is functioning correctly and safely for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair medical equipment, including patient monitors, infusion devices, and other medical devices.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
- Work with clinical staff to ensure that medical equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for medical equipment.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and obtain spare parts.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff on the use and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for medical equipment maintenance and calibration.
- BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering or Technical Degree.
- 3 years of experience in medical device planned preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Asset management experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
