We are a leading South East land-led housebuilder, specialising in the development of new homes and communities in partnership with housing associations, landowners, and fund managers. Our company consists of eight subsidiaries, and we are on an exciting growth plan.
About the Role
As a Land Buyer, you will support the Land Managers and Land Director to acquire residential and mixed-use sites in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group
- Managing the end-to-end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams
- Running appraisal scenarios on new pipeline sites
- Updating and managing the group land tracker
- Supporting the legal and compliance processes for site purchases
Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who wants to do the best work of their life. You will come from a similar position, with experience in Land Acquisition, ideally from a private developer. You will need:
- Excellent IT and organisation skills
- A sound understanding of the planning system and procedures
- A good knowledge of the regional area and associated markets
