Land Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

As a key member of the Chartway Group Ltd team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Land Managers and Land Director in acquiring residential and mixed-use sites in the South East region. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group, and manage the end-to-end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams
  • Run appraisal scenarios on new pipeline sites
  • Update and manage the group land tracker
  • Support the legal and compliance processes for site purchases, including drafting Board purchase packs, drafting and reviewing Heads of Terms, and reading land purchase contracts

Requirements:

  • Experience in Land Acquisition, ideally from a private developer
  • Excellent IT and organisation skills
  • Sound understanding of the planning system and procedures
  • Good knowledge of the regional area and associated markets
