Fetal Medicine Lead Midwife

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team as the Fetal Medicine Lead Midwife. This is a permanent position that requires effective team working across several professional groups and departments to offer safe, personal, and effective care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to midwives providing midwifery care for women during the fetal medicine pathway.
  • Work in partnership with the Antenatal and Newborn Screening (ANNBS) Midwives to ensure that abnormal screening results are responded to expediently and within the appropriate time frames.
  • Participate in the provision of effective individualized, women-centered, evidence-based midwifery care.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife
  • Evidence of continuing professional development post-registration
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Knowledge and experience of fetal medicine
