We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our specialist school team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with complex learning difficulties, often associated with profound physical disabilities and/or medical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in achieving their educational and personal goals, promoting equality, diversity, and respect for all individuals.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and demonstrate the values of our organization in all aspects of the role.
  • Provide high-quality support in all areas of the role, including participation in physical intervention and personal care routines.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
Requirements
  • Hold at least Level 2 / C grade (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Be willing and able to work towards getting formal qualifications, attend training, and take responsibility for your own development.
  • Display passion, compassion, and a commitment to supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Be ambitious, determined, and proactive in overcoming barriers to learning.
  • Have excellent communication skills, particularly in relation to students' communication needs.
