About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analysis Manager to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business initiatives and leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Business Requirements: Develop and articulate business requirements for the development and commercialization of new product capabilities.
  • Document Process Flows: Articulate and document process flows, including customer interactions and operational interventions.
  • Cover Functional and Non-Functional Requirements: Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met, including product features, operational requirements, regulatory and compliance requirements, user interface, client reporting, sanctions, resiliency, and scalability.
  • Perform Impact Analysis: Conduct impact analysis for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will require technical or operational process changes.
  • Partner with Product and Technology Teams: Collaborate with product and technology partners to define globally consistent platform architecture.
  • Conduct Gaps Analysis: Identify gaps in business initiatives and determine the degree of change required.
  • Work with User Acceptance Testing Team: Develop testing strategies and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities.
  • Track Project Progress: Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely completion.
  • Drive Operations Readiness: Ensure documentation of process flows, operational procedures, training, user entitlements, roles, and responsibilities, and establish escalation matrices.
  • Anticipate and Mitigate Risks: Identify internal and external factors impacting the global payment strategy and develop plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Perform Defect Analysis: Analyze defects, prioritize, and explore alternative solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong Commercial Payments Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of commercial payments, including high-value SWIFT and clearing flows.
  • Previous Experience in Banking/Financial Services: Have prior experience in banking and financial services.
  • Agile Methodology Experience: Be well-versed in Agile methodology and have experience driving projects under this framework.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Possess strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strategic Thinking: Possess strategic thinking skills, with the ability to define future-state business models and drive execution.
  • Multi-Tasking and Prioritization: Be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • Self-Motivation and Time Management: Demonstrate self-motivation, tenacity, and excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Executive-Level Content Delivery: Have experience designing, delivering, and presenting executive-level content.
  • Matrix Organization Experience: Be adept at working in matrix organizations and dynamic high-performance teams.
  • Results-Oriented: Be able to leverage the organization to deliver results quickly.
