As a Business Analysis Manager - Vice President within the Graphite Payments Transformation team at JP Morgan Chase, you will spearhead projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Your role will require strong communication and influencing abilities, strategic insight, and collaboration with various teams. Flexibility and a results-oriented mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and define business requirements for the development and launch of new product features.
- Document and articulate process flows, including customer interactions and operational interventions.
- Address both functional and non-functional requirements, encompassing Product features, Operational needs, Regulatory and Compliance standards, User Interface, Client reporting, and Scalability considerations.
- Conduct impact assessments for business initiatives to identify key groups that may need to adapt to technical or operational changes.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to establish a globally consistent platform architecture.
- Perform gap analyses to assess the extent of changes arising from business initiatives.
- Coordinate with the User Acceptance Testing team to devise testing strategies and ensure comprehensive testing of all capabilities.
- Monitor the overall progress of initiatives, identifying potential issues and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve them for timely project completion.
- Ensure operational readiness for new product launches by documenting process flows, operational procedures, training, and establishing clear roles and responsibilities.
- Anticipate internal and external factors that may influence the global payment strategy, implementing plans to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
- Conduct defect analysis and prioritize alternative solutions as necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial Payments, including high-value SWIFT and clearing processes.
- Prior experience in Banking or Financial services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing projects within this framework.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to define future business models and drive execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated and adept at time management and prioritization.
- Experience in creating and presenting executive-level content.
- Skilled in navigating matrix organizations and high-performance teams.
- Able to leverage organizational resources to achieve results efficiently.
- Experience in leading large-scale strategic projects is preferred.
