Candidate Profile

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an SEO and Content Specialist to enhance our digital marketing efforts. We seek a motivated, intelligent, and analytical individual with excellent English writing abilities to drive SEO initiatives for our clients. A genuine interest in digital marketing and a commitment to advancing your SEO skills are essential, with the possibility to explore other facets of digital marketing.

Ideal candidates should be based in the UK. Proximity to our office would be advantageous, allowing for regular attendance at our workplace.

Role Responsibilities

This position primarily involves achieving outstanding SEO outcomes for our clients. Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting client onboarding and formulating SEO strategies
  • Executing on-page optimization techniques
  • Conducting keyword research
  • Evaluating competitor websites and their SEO approaches
  • Assessing site health, resolving SEO-related issues, and implementing technical SEO as needed
  • Creating and managing content calendars and producing blog content
  • Monitoring SEO and website performance through tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
  • Generating analytical reports and offering insights for website performance enhancement
  • Focusing on local SEO initiatives
  • Preparing SEO reports
  • Presenting findings to clients and addressing their inquiries

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing and SEO, or proven knowledge in the field
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Proficient in crafting online content
  • Experience with content management systems for website and blog optimization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with clients
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple client projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an agency setting
  • Educational background in relevant fields such as English, marketing, or analytics
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience with tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and/or Ahrefs
  • Knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with platforms like WordPress or Shopify

Compensation

Salary range is between £25,000.00 and £30,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
