About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Neurology and Neurophysiology to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a dual-accredited specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services in both neurology and neurophysiology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical neurophysiology services, including electroencephalography, video telemetry, electromyography, and evoked response testing.
  • Work closely with the neurology team to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement specialist surgery procedures to improve patient experience and reduce waiting times.
  • Participate in regular clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
Person Specification
  • MB BS or equivalent qualification.
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification/demonstration of equivalent experience.
  • Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practice.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Up-to-date and fit to practise safely.
