Position Overview:

Kent Street Senior High School is in search of dedicated Health and Physical Education educators with a specialization in Cricket. This initiative aims to create a talent pool for potential permanent and fixed-term teaching roles that may become available.

Our Cricket program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation for those aspiring to pursue a career in cricket, as well as for those who engage in the sport for personal enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute actively to the development of the Cricket program, ensuring inclusivity for both male and female students.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills while working closely with students, faculty, and the broader community.
  • Lead curriculum development that caters to the educational needs of students from Year 7 to Year 12, including ATAR and General pathways.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A robust background in Cricket, with experience in coaching or leading school sports teams.
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities and a commitment to achieving the best educational outcomes.
  • A willingness to work outside regular school hours and hold a valid bus license.
  • Experience in delivering senior school and certificate courses is advantageous but not mandatory.
