Lead Freight Operations Manager

About the Role:
Amazon TA is seeking a seasoned Lead Freight Operations Manager to join our Shipper Management Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our shipping partners to identify, develop, and implement initiatives that enhance the overall shipper experience while optimizing operational efficiencies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as a proactive leader who can convert the strategic vision for Amazon Shipping into actionable plans that align with the objectives of various operational teams across the EU.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely for up to two days a week, in accordance with Amazon's flexible work policies.
Key Contributions:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and refining processes and practices that engage and influence multiple operational stakeholders, ultimately building a shipping service that delights our customers.
Amazon Shipping provides a comprehensive delivery solution, initially targeting sellers within the EU who wish to utilize our extensive delivery network for their domestic shipping needs.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in the logistics and shipping sector, particularly with shipping service providers or global freight forwarding.
- Proven ability to leverage data and qualitative insights to drive business decisions.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent structured problem-solving training is preferred.
- Experience in managing programs or projects effectively.
