Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Freight Operations Executive to join our client's team in Rainham. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years previous experience within a similar role, ideally covering at least Ocean and Road Freight.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Freight Operations: Take bookings, provide customer service, quotations and rates, customs, documentation, deliveries and invoicing.
  2. Freight Management: Coordinate multi-modal freight, with emphasis on Ocean Freight, both Imports and Exports.
  3. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  4. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  5. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during freight operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Ocean and Road Freight.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
