Position Overview: Our client, Matchtech, is in search of a seasoned Cost Consultant specializing in MEP and Telecommunications to enhance their team.

This role offers a flexible working arrangement, allowing for a combination of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with clients, their representatives, and other stakeholders on financial matters through various communication methods, including Compensation Change Management (CCM), Early Warning Notices (EWN), and Notification of Compensation Events (NCE).
  • Administering pricing strategies and negotiating modifications to contracts related to Project Management Initiatives (PMI) and compensation events.
  • Supervising the management and validation of interim payment applications.
  • Updating and overseeing final account assessments and the resolution of final accounts.
  • Analyzing daily operational reports and quantifying completed work.
  • Demonstrating experience in rail, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
  • Having a background in subcontracting (Tier 2 or 3), managing pricing, and negotiating changes with Tier 1 or end clients.
  • Possessing specific expertise in MEP or Telecommunications, beyond civil engineering.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent software.
  • Holding a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
