As a Chemotherapy Nurse, your key duties will include:

  • Administering chemotherapy drugs with precision and care.
  • Monitoring patients for any adverse reactions during treatment.
  • Providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists and pharmacists, to optimize patient care.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • At least 6 months of experience in oncology nursing.
  • Completion of a relevant specialist course in oncology nursing.
  • Certification in chemotherapy administration.
  • Strong clinical competencies and knowledge in oncology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Completion of all mandatory training requirements.
