Robotics Applications Engineer Opportunity

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, automation, and robotics to find a talented Graduate Robotics Applications Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong knowledge of programming and an interest in robotics to join a global organization at the forefront of warehouse technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing and commissioning of driverless systems (AGVs) at customer sites across the UK and Ireland
  • Testing and validating these solutions and undertaking proof of concept configuration
  • Using programming languages such as KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
  • Designing customer material flow processes in relation to AGVs
  • Assessing and implementing damage analysis
  • Providing customers with technical support post-sale
Requirements:
  • A qualification in a programming language, including KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python
  • A degree in robotics, mechatronics, or a similar field
  • A full, clean UK driver's license
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK and occasionally to Europe
