Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Senior / Supervisor, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Charity and Not-for-Profit clients, delivering a comprehensive range of accounting services and expert advice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing workflow and ensuring timely delivery of accounts for your portfolio.
- Reporting to Senior Managers and Directors on account progress.
- Overseeing the preparation of management accounts.
- Supervising the drafting of statutory accounts, VAT returns, and year-end schedules for review.
- Delegating tasks and providing necessary support and guidance.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a Recently Qualified ACA or ACCA (up to 3 years) with relevant experience in an audit or accountancy practice. You should possess:
- Experience in preparing management and statutory accounts.
- The ability to manage multiple clients efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- A strong understanding of the commercial implications of productivity and client service.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage 50, or Sage 200 (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel.
